Reflection

Reflection is intentionally reviewing and breaking down your thoughts, experiences, or responses to understand your core drivers, identify patterns, and gain insights you can learn from.

  • Short definition: Intentionally breaking down thoughts or experiences to gain understanding and learn from them.
  • Example: After an argument with her friend, Sarah reflects on her reaction by considering what she thought, why she interpreted the situation the way she did, and how her assumptions influenced her response. She realizes she jumped to conclusions and identifies what she can do differently next time.
